The Membership Committee acts as a conduit between the Executive Committee and the members to inform on the following areas:

  • Membership criteria and eligibility
  • Member benefits and services
  • Member recruitment and retention strategies
  • Member data collection
  • Membership engagement and marketing opportunities

Education Committee

The Education Committee oversees and informs APHAA’s Education Strategy, while ensuring that members have access to:

  • Leadership and professional development opportunities to build capacity and excellence within Alberta’s public housing sector
  • Conferences, seminars, workshops and webinars
  • Education modules for new and emerging CAOs/housing leaders
  • Continuing education related to APHAA’s 5 Pillars of Excellence
  • A bursary program to support the pursuance of further education, designations and public housing certifications

Finance Committee

Our Finance Committee oversees the following:

  • Reviews budgets, financial statements and audit reports
  • Supports annual budgeting and long-term financial planning
  • Oversees financial policies
  • Advises the Board on financial matters
